The engine has been started – Frankfurt’s autumn trade fair season is underway!
Frankfurt am Main, 16 September 2021. Following a forced, one-and-a-half-year break, from 14 to 16 September Messe Frankfurt was finally able to welcome exhibitors and trade visitors to two of its own events at its home venue. 388 exhibitors took part in the special Automechanika Frankfurt Digital Plus event in Hall 3 and the Hypermotion Frankfurt conference and trade fair in the Forum. Of these, 53 percent were present in person in Frankfurt, with the remainder participating online. Approx. 10,000 visitors from 70 countries followed the three-day trade fair programme live in Frankfurt and online. Two-thirds of the participants made use of the many new digital features to do so on-screen, including live streams, intelligent matchmaking and one-to-one video calls. The platform played host to approx. 25,000 interactions in all. The streams were viewed 21,000 times, while 1,600 video calls were made.
Live in person and online: Automechanika Frankfurt Digital Plus features an appealing array of new topics and an extensive supporting programme
Frankfurt am Main, 1 September 2021. The anticipation is mounting: Automechanika Frankfurt Digital Plus starts on 14 September 2021. The three-day event is taking place as a hybrid event for the first time, combining a compact exhibition on the Frankfurt exhibition grounds with an online platform that allows exhibitors and visitors to participate and network digitally. In addition to product innovations, the focus will be on the topics and trends impacting the automotive aftermarket today. There will also be a three-day programme of events supported by numerous partners and sponsors.
Safe in-person trade fairs in Frankfurt
The first in-person trade fairs have already taken place. Messe Frankfurt is ready to resume in-person events with its proven safety and hygiene concept and requirement that everyone be vaccinated, recovered or tested. The first events have already been held successfully, and the next in-person events will be opening their doors in Frankfurt in September.
Innovative products and trends, professional development and networking – Automechanika Frankfurt prioritises personal interaction and digital networking
What are the current issues and trends in the aftermarket? What are the future challenges for car repair shops, e.g. due to the fast increase in alternative drive systems? This year’s Automechanika Frankfurt Digital Plus will be held in a more compact form, with a different model adapted to suit the prevailing situation, and also with a wide range of online products and services. There is a strong demand for personal interaction, as around 75 per cent of the approx. 200 exhibiting companies want to have physical stands at the exhibition. What’s new is that Automechanika will take place at the same time as Hypermotion – the tradeshow of the logistics industry – at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre. This will give the automotive sector valuable inspiration, e.g. with regard to resilient supply chains, fleet management and IoT systems.
